We are so excited and thrilled to share our first ever cover feature on the latest issue of The FilAm Courier!!
Hawaii Doggie Bakery’s Co-Owner Niki Libarios is half Filipino, and Libarios family members have been longtime writing contributors to The Fil-Am Courier so it was such an honor to be contacted for their pet-centric issue. We had no idea we would be on the cover until just a few days before publication!
The Fil-Am Courier has served the Filipino community since 1987 and is Hawaii’s longest running Filipino publication. A big thanks to Bennette Epspineli Misalucha, Managing Editor and author of the three page story on Hawaii Doggie Bakery! She wonderfully captured our journey and how the values taught to us from our Filipino Dad, Herman and beloved cousin Niki (yes, same name!) have shaped where our business is today. Also a special thanks to Mark Salondaka who shot the cover photo!
