We had such a great time at the Hawaii Kai Dog Walk on June 2nd! We look forward to this fundraiser for the Hawaii Kai Dog Park every year. For 2013, we decided to become first time sponsors of the dog walk and also to use our boothspace to promote The Yellow Dog Project!
Along with our friends from Lei Woof, we decked out our booth with all yellow ribbons, tablecloth and any other yellow items we could find. We also created a large poster of the official Yellow Dog Project poster as well as some fun photoprops. We cut out the little doggies in the poster and even gave folks the chance to try out a yellow cone on themselves–now we know how our dogs feel, BOL!
It was a great morning, we were so happy to see everyone out and about with their pups. Hope that Hui ‘Ilio Hawaii raised a good amount of money, and we can’t wait for next year!
